Andrew M. Longley, Sr.
District 779 Governor 1982-1983

Andy was a graduate of Perley Free High School, Georgetown, Mass.   Andy completed his pre-med studies at the University of Maine-Orono and received his Osteopathic Medical Degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathy & Surgery in Missouri.  He practiced General Osteopathic Medicine in Newburyport, Mass. 

He was president of the Newburyport, Mass. Rotary Club (1946-1947).   Andy served District 779 as District Governor in 1982-83.  His home club was the Rotary Club of Newburyport, MA.  He later relocated to Maine and was a member of the Rotary Club of Brunswick.  Andy represented District 779 at the 1989 Council on Legislation, served on the Nominating Committee, Rotary Foundation Committee, and other committees in District 7780.

Andrew Longley, Sr. passed away on January 19, 1996.
