Rotaplast International is a non-profit, humanitarian organization founded in 1992 as a world community service project of the Rotary Club of San Francisco. Recognized by Charity Navigator as a 4 star charity, Rotaplast is committed to changing lives through reconstructive surgery and has performed over 15,000 cleft lip/cleft palate surgeries in countries around the world.

District 7780 clubs have been involved both in raising money for Rotaplast and in volunteering to go on its missions.  Both medical and non-medical volunteers do life-changing work. To learn more, go to www.rotaplast.org.

District 7780 is also the home of Wrap-a-Smile, a Wells Club project that has grown to include all 50 states and which provides quilts for Rotaplast patients. Enjoy this video, which features our own Gary Howard, dentist.

In November 2011 the District sponsored a Rotaplast trip to Togo, West Africa.  Seven 7780 Rotarians participated in the trip at their own expense.  Please contact any of them (Ellie Andrews, Joan Correll, Ann & Steve Demeranville, Joan Nickell, Jim Price and Leonard Seagren) if you would like them to speak to your Rotary Club.
