Wrap-a-Smile, which now involves Rotarians from across North America, started here in District 7780!

Wells Rotarian Terri Hodskins was first introduced to Rotaplast, the organization that does cleft lip/cleft palate repairs in developing nations, in 2001.  When Terri learned that the patients are sent home in paper blankets, she realized that she and her quilting guild could do better.

Today, over 16,000 quilts have been made by Wrap-a-Smile quilters,  which means 16,000 small lives have been improved not only by the Rotary sponsored surgeries, but by the clean, brightly colored quilts that the children take home from surgery with them.
