District 7780 - United Nations Day

This year Rotary International UN Day will be held on Saturday, 8 November 2008. Registration will begin at 8:00am and the program will begin at 9:30am and last until 4:30pm. The registration fee is $37.50 for adults and $15.00 young Rotarians, (High School age only).

We have again designed a special program for Young Rotarians of High School age.

9:30am – 12:30 pm ---- Young Rotarians program.

This unique opportunity will offer a visit to the United Nations Headquarters in New York City and participation in panel discussions featuring leaders and officials from the United Nations, United Nations affiliated Non Governmental Organizations (NGO’s) and Rotary International.

A brown bag lunch (sandwich, beverage, fruit and desert) will be included in the Registration fee. Lunch will be served in the main United Nations Cafeteria overlooking The East River. Gifts are available in several Gift Shops. Public

parking is nearby.
