ROTARIANS PRESENTED AWARDS
 
Five Damariscotta-Newcastle Rotarians became either new or Plus Paul Harris members in June and July.  PDG John LoBosco awarded club foundation chair Marianne Pinkham (pictured right) and out going President Jane Gravel at the annual changeover dinner.  
 
At the club's first meeting of the new year, pins were awarded to Bob Conger and PP Judy Spears (below left), and then Hugh Riddleberger (below right) received his Plus 2 pin.
 
 
 
 
STEP UP BOOTS AWARDED TO MARIANNE PINKHAM
 
The Damariscotta-Newcastle Club has a special, annual award, The Step Up Boots, chosen by the outgoing president, for the person who always steps up to help....the 2018-19 winner is Marianne Pinkham. Marianne is our club foundation chairperson, cheerleader, statistician, photographer and serves on the District Grants review committee.  She is a dedicated Rotarian and community volunteer.
 
 
 
 
RAFFLE HELD TO COMBAT FOOD INSECURITY
 
 
Damariscotta-Newcastle again raised funds to combat food insecurity in Lincoln County by raffling a kayak and paddle.  Pictured are the happy winner and Rotarians Hugh Riddleberger and Bill Vaughan.
