Membership

Membership Committee: Develops and implements plans to attract, engage, and retain members.   Leads the club’s recruitment efforts through quarterly recruitment events which showcase club activities. Meets with applicants to review membership privileges, requirements, and opportunities, and guides  candidates through the orientation, onboarding, and induction stages.  Introduces new members to the “Buddy” program which provides a personal mentor for their first six months of membership. Also fosters  efforts to retain and engage new members by encouraging participation on club committees and during hands-on projects. Explores  potential for new or expanded membership categories and works to  maintain an active, diverse, and representative membership base. (Meets quarterly)
