Serving as a Rotary Ambassadorial scholar in Kampala, Uganda in 2009 and 2010, Katie studied Human Rights at Makerere University, and volunteered with Rotary projects focused on youth and community development. With over a decade of experience working at the intersection of education and international development programs, Katie is passionate about education as a means for breaking the cycle of poverty. 
 
Katie is the founder and principal of Panorama Consulting, an organization devoted to connecting students and organizations to global opportunities and resources. Katie has extensive experience working in international and higher education in East Africa and the United States. Most recently, Katie served as the Director of Development at Education for All Children (EFAC), a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and mentoring to Kenya’s most disadvantaged youth. Her leadership experience includes her tenure as the inaugural director of the Center for Global Citizenship at St. Louis University. Additionally, Katie has been leading field-based experiential education programs with National Geographic Student Expeditions and Putney Student travel since 2006.
 
Ms. Donnelly has a BA in Government and African Studies from Saint Lawrence University, and an MA in International Studies from The University of Oregon. During her time as an Ambassadorial Scholar, Ms. Donnelly spoke widely at Rotary clubs and events throughout East Africa. She was sponsored by the Rotary District 7040 and the Rotary Club of Canton, NY.  She continues to speak widely on the topics of youth, human rights, and global citizenship, and welcomes the opportunity to connect with individuals and organizations that share these interests. Katie lives with her family in Exeter, New Hampshire.
