From Your District Governor
What lasting impact will we have?

I have been fortunate, over the last 17 years, to have held a variety of roles both within my club and our district. I’ve enjoyed the opportunities to learn from some really brilliant people. To make deep, lasting friendships and to find my path in leadership.
So, as I accept the honor of serving as your District Governor it is with a full heart of gratitude and sense of humility.
Rotary, to me, is about creating life-changing opportunities, which continue long after our term of service has ended. As I look forward to the year ahead, I am inspired by one especially important question: What lasting impact will we have?
This year, I encourage us all to share and leverage our passions, because when passion is shared with purpose, extraordinary things happen. It inspires action, attracts others to our mission, and transforms good intentions into meaningful results.
As your District Governor, I pledge to listen, to support, and help create opportunities for clubs and members to thrive.
This amazing world needs us. It needs passionate Rotarians, because we know it’s not about whether the bell has been rung, or the happy dollars collected, it’s about the people. Through our empathy, our active service, and our global reach, we can make a long-term difference in lives of people.
Together, let’s focus on building a legacy that lasts, by strengthening the connections that unite us.
Together, let’s channel our passions into service that create opportunities to changes lives.
Together, let’s build stronger clubs, develop future leaders, and expand our ability to serve those who need us most.
And let us do so with gratitude—for the opportunity to serve, for the deep friendships we share, and for the differences we can make together.
I am excited for the year ahead. I look forward to celebrating your successes, learning from your experiences, and collaborating with you as we continue our mission of uniting for good to Create Lasting Impact!
