ARK Project (Poland)
UNE Rotaract District Grant

District 7780 has awarded a district grant to the UNE Rotaract Club in support of the ARK Project in Poland, a Rotary‑led initiative providing critical mental health services to adolescents, including Polish youth, Ukrainian refugees, and other displaced young people affected by trauma. Grant funds were used to purchase essential audiovisual equipment that will support educational, prevention, and therapeutic programming at the ARK Center.
The Rotary Club of Lublin Centrum has redesigned a building on the ARK site in Wojciechów for training and educational use, with installation of the new equipment planned for spring 2026 once construction is complete. UNE Rotaract members and advisors are also planning a service trip to the ARK facility and have been invited to present at a professional seminar in Zamość, “Together for the Mental Health of Children and Adolescents – Prevention and Treatment.”
Partners in this grant include the Rotaract Club of Lublin Centrum; Old Orchard Beach High School Interact; and the Rotary Clubs of Saco Bay Sunset, Freeport, and Dover, NH.
