Plans are moving ahead for District 7780’s 3rd annual conference, this year on: Critical Partners: Mental Health and the Road to Recovery. The program will take place at Noble High School, 100 Noble Way, North Berwick, Maine, on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Invitations have gone out to all 39 Rotary Club Presidents in Southern Maine and Seacoast New Hampshire asking them to alert their members about the sessions as well as to provide financial support.

Our goal is to help Rotarians, their friends and families, and our larger communities to understand common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges for those in recovery from SUD (Substance Use Disorder) and find workable ways to respond.

Morning keynote speaker will be Dr. John Kelly, Ph.D. Director-Center for Addictive Medicine, Mass General Hospital.  Afternoon keynoter will be Dr. Linda Durst, M.D.- Chair, Department of Psychiatry, Maine Medical Center. Discussion panels will follow each speaker.
