Nine District 7780 clubs hit the ice on March 1 as Rotarians and their families carried 60 American flags during the first intermission of the Maine Mariners game at Cross Arena — a beautiful sight!
Each flag honored a personal hero: someone who lifted them up, inspired them, or made life better when it mattered most. The Portland Rotary Flags for Heroes program celebrates those everyday champions while supporting local service projects.
Huge thanks to Rotarians from Bath, Bridgton–Lakes Region, Dover NH, Exeter NH, Freeport, Kennebunkport, Saco Bay, Portland, and York for creating a spectacular moment of Rotary unity.
