The Rotary Leadership Institute is not an official training program of Rotary International. The Rotary Leadership Institute of Northeast America (RLINEA) includes 21 districts in the northeastern part of the USA and Bermuda. Clubs and districts who want to train Rotarians as leaders at local levels can access online a wide array of resources developed by the International RLI.The institute offers a training program in three full-day sessions, followed by graduate seminars. Faculty are carefully selected from among Rotarians with outstanding leadership abilities, prepared to conduct innovative participatory course sessions.
District 7780 is a member of RLINEA and supplies instructors on a regular basis. In the picture above, four of the seven are members of 7780. Many leaders in our district have taken all three sessions and some have taken the graduate sessions too. There are two virtual sessions coming up Feb 5 and Mar 12. There is an in-person session scheduled for April 30 in Wakefield, MA - In Person. Chris Summers from the Oxford Hills Rotary Club is the current District 7780 representative to RLI.
