Shelter Box is a Rotary affiliated group, adopted in April 2000 by the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard in Cornwall, England.  Shelter Box provides emergency shelter and tools in times of dramatic need such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods and tornados.

This is a project that several in this District have supported over many years. Read on for more about a unique fundraiser coming to New England this summer.

Chase Harr is following the lead of Brittney Woodrum, a ShelterBox ambassador who summited all 58 of Colorado’s 14,000 footers.  She did her climbs with a ShelterBox on her back!

Chase was inspired to carry on Brittney’s mission and will scale all 67 of New England 4,000 footers, with a ShelterBox on his back. “Second Summits” is a campaign to raise funds and awareness for ShelterBox.  This will bring Chase to District 7780 for a few weeks in August and September.
