The District International Service Committee has two new projects which we are very excited about.  The International Cafes and the District Resource Network.

INTERNATIONAL CAFÉ - We are pleased to announce the date of our next "International Cafe" is SATURDAY, JUNE 26, 2021 - 9:00-10:30 am.

This will be the last "Cafe" until the fall, so we hope you can make it!!  Our past cafes have been pretty amazing - fun and engaging.  We hope you will sign on!  Please mark your calendar - the link and line up of speakers will be forthcoming!! 

This is open to everyone in our district. If you are or have been involved with Rotary International projects or would like to be or are just curious, this is for you.  And, we especially invite Club International and Foundation Chairs. This will help you better understand your Rotary Foundation $$$ at work. (Also - if you know of an international connection/project you want to see as part of the "Café," please reach out to me at ebodwell@icloud.com!!)

DISTRICT RESOURCE NETWORK (DRN) - We want to create a Resource for Clubs in the District.  This would be a network of people and perhaps organizations that one can “go to” for information about countries, projects, areas of focus, how to write a global grant and more.

For those of us new to Rotary or the District, this information can be elusive. If you would like to be a resource because of an area of expertise, please let us know at ebodwell@icloud.com.  If there is someone you know (in or out of Rotary) who has expertise in a particular aspect of International projects, please send me their name and club (& phone / email if you have it).
The DRN is a new project for us and we are eager to develop it.  If you have ideas, questions or comments or would like to help us assemble this resource, please reach out. It will be an excellent way to meet key people in our district.
