DISC UPDATE

The District International Services Committee is really excited about the positive outcomes as a result of our International Cafes. For example:

The Human Milk Bank project in India - Within 30 days of the wonderful presentation on the HMB at our International Café, our district raised over $10,000 - the Global Grant was submitted, approved and is now in the process of being put into place.

In December Bob Koncerak of Georgia, presented a project and it gained a lot of traction with some clubs offering to assist with the grant proposal.

Connecting the Dots segments are helping our members see the connection between our annual giving and grants that are awarded.

We have more cafes scheduled for this year (you’ll receive an invitation) along with breakouts/presentations at the District Assembly on April 16th and the District Conference on May 14th. Join us for our events. It may make the difference for projects you are contemplating or moving forward.
