It is with much excitement that we share that our District has been awarded the Zone 32 District with the highest total Foundation Donations!  This is quite an honor and it is thanks to all of our clubs and members.  Wonderful work everyone! Click here to watch a short video that will be shown at the Thursday, November 4, Zone Institute Virtual Summit event, “Together We Celebrate.”

As you know, monies donated to The Rotary Foundation can be donated to

the following different funds:
  • the Annual Fund, in which each year our District receives a block grant of one-half previous giving to support our District and Global grants and programs;
  • Polio Plus, your funds have helped to reduce polio cases 99% worldwide, let’s keep up the good work;
  • the World Fund, which puts our donations to work where they are needed most;
  • the Disaster Response Fund, making funds available through the Rotary Disaster Response Grants;
  • Areas of Focus, this lets you choose to donate directly to one of Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus - The Environment, Disease Prevention & Treatment, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, Maternal & Child Health, Basic Education & Literacy, Community Economic Development, and Peace Building & Conflict Prevention;
  • Endowment is next and mainly grows through Planned Giving; and lastly you may
  • Donate to a specific Global Grant for which you will need the seven-digit grant number.

For more details on The Rotary Foundation, visit our own District page or the Rotary Foundation page on the RI website.  Both have a wealth of information!

Probably the best link to have though, is the Rotary Direct page.  They have made it so easy to set-up an on-line payment, either a one-time donation or recurring.  TRF has put together a very helpful guide that walks you through setting up your account and answers many FAQs.  That document has been added to our District website and may be found on the Home page under "Download Files."
