Michele Cole – Nominee for District Governor 2027-2028
Congratulations Michele!Michele Varuolo Cole of our Bethel club has been selected by the District Nominating Committee to serve as our District Governor for 2027 – 2028.
Michele is a 24-year Rotarian, with wide-ranging private sector work, community involvement, and Rotary experience. In addition to her multitude of club work, Michele has served as an Assistant Governor and has made extensive contributions to our District Foundation Committee and our District Grant program, a program which she currently Chairs.
Michele has years of experience in community involvement and government, at all levels, including multiple terms as a municipal official. She currently serves as the chair of the Bethel Select Board.
In the private sector, Michele has 35 years supporting and managing a wide variety of challenging projects in ski resorts and as the Chief Administrator and Manager for LBO Holdings.
When not “doing Rotary”, Michele and her husband enjoy dancing and outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, boating, and fishing.
