ShareForever Campaign Update - October 2024

Almost a year ago we shared the news of the generous District 7780 donors, Brenda and Dick Cressey,making a legacy gift up to one million dollars to support the ShareForever 7780 Million Dollar Challenge. We are thrilled with what we’ve accomplished, and just wanted to share with you that, including their legacy gifts, we reached 3.4 Million Dollars by the end of the Rotary Year!
With so much success, we felt there was no way we could stop! We now have a new goal and a new challenge gift.
The first $250,000 raised this year will be doubled by a new Matching Gift from Marion and Harry Cheney. This generous challenge gift can double the impact of YOUR legacy gift and multiply the impact you will have on Rotary’s work - forever.
Maybe you’ve been meaning to reach out to a member of our ShareForever committee or ambassador to get some questions answered. Or maybe you thought you’d missed your chance to participate. Better yet, maybe you’ve already made arrangements for your donation, but have been so moved by a project that TRF’s grant monies helped to complete, and you’d like to give more. Whatever the situation, we are here to help you as you make your plans for your legacy gifts.

For those who have made their legacy gifts, please mark your calendars for a special thank you event on Sunday, March 30, 2025. You will receive your official invitation if your gift of $10,000 or more was made between the start of this campaign, July 1, 2023 and the end of February, 2025. We have a special guest planned, watch for the announcement of this guest in future newsletters! The event will be held at the Atlantic Grill in Rye, NH. We look forward to seeing you there!
